POSITIVE STEPS - KEEP FIT

Positive Steps

Positive Steps is a GP referral scheme that enables people to benefit from a supervised physical activity programme. If your GP feels that you could benefit from becoming more active they can refer you to a qualified Exercise Referral Consultant. The Consultant will customise an exercise plan to help improve or alleviate your illness or symptoms.
Classes run at the Village Hall at 9.00am on Monday and Thursday mornings and cost £1.50 per session. Classes follow a circuit format and last approximately an hour. Some participants work on their own circuits depending on their specific needs and abilities.
The classes are also open to those who have not been referred by their GP.

You can have a health assessment , comprising body composition analysis, height, weight and lung function tests along with an aerobic test, before starting the classes.
